The Break
Beacons sits on a stretch of Leucadia bluffs where aviation beacon lights used to guide aircraft along the coast. The lights are gone. The name stayed. So did the wave — a reliable reef break that the locals know and the crowds don’t always find.
The Cap
BEACONS embroidered across the front of a low-profile corduroy cap. The colors of the Leucadia sandstone bluffs, the Encinitas ocean at dawn, the Cardiff cliffs, the Torrey Pines at dusk. Unstructured six-panel crown, cotton twill sweatband, adjustable strap with gold metal buckle. The kind of hat that goes on without thinking.
