Description

The Break

Trails is the collective name for the three miles of beach fronting the San Onofre Bluffs State Campground, south of the old nuclear plant. The access trails are numbered one through six — the beaches they lead to being their namesakes. San Onofre’s history in California surfing dates to the early days of the sport, when local surfers trekked down from Newport Beach for a two-day exploration mission and found something worth coming back to. Campsites on the bluff above the break. The nuclear plant visible on the headland to the north. Trails has a particular quality that Old Man’s and Trestles don’t — it’s the end of the road, the last campsite, the furthest point south. The kind of place that stays with you.

The Cap

The Trails name embroidered across the front of a low-profile corduroy cap. Five colorways available — find yours. Unstructured six-panel crown, cotton twill sweatband, adjustable strap with gold metal buckle.

Pairs naturally with the Trestles Corduroy Cap for anyone who knows San Onofre end to end.
